Tengku Ahmad Hazri is currently affiliated with the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his law degree, LLB (Hons) from the University of London and undertook his graduate studies in Islamic Thought at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) in Kuala Lumpur, where he was also a Graduate Assistant attached to the Research Unit on Islam in South East Asia. He first joined JUST as a volunteer, after which he was absorbed as a staff, and currently serves in the Executive Committee (EXCO). Among his interests include topics in philosophy and theology, religious resurgence, psychology, contemporary issues, civilizational dialogue and knowledge-power relations.
