Asma is a specialist on intercultural matters and topics related to organization Development and Change, Cross cultural Management and Training and Development. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Dip. Ed. (Monash University, Melbourne) Masters of Science in Education (University of So. California, Los Angeles), Master of Arts in Counseling (Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur) and Ph.D in Anthropology (Universiti Kebangsaan, Bangi). She retired from ExxonMobil in 2003 after spending more than 22 years as a human resource development practitioner. She has written and published more than 40 articles on culture, women, training and development and authored 5 books Understanding the Malaysian Workforce, Going Glocal published by Malaysian Institute of Management and Understanding Multicultural Malaysia by Pearson-Prentice Hall, Culture Matters and Insights into Malaysian Culture.
